Failure to Launch Program
Transform stalled potential into real-world independence with personalized coaching.
Building Independence & Life Skills
Are you concerned about your young adult’s transition to independence?
The GrowNOW Failure to Launch Program is designed specifically for individuals aged 16-30 who are struggling to gain traction in their life journey.
Through personalized coaching and real-world skill building, we help young adults develop the internal motivation and executive function skills needed to move forward confidently in life.
We focus on building genuine independence, not just following checklists or relying on external prompts. We work collaboratively with young adults and their families to develop sustainable skills, create meaningful goals, and establish a path toward true self-sufficiency.
What is the Failure to Launch Program?
The Failure to Launch Program is a specialized coaching service that helps young adults overcome barriers to independence and professional growth. Unlike traditional approaches that rely heavily on external organization systems, our program focuses on developing crucial internal skills like self-motivation, self-awareness, and future thinking.
Why Choose the Failure to Launch Program?
Our approach is distinctly different because we:
- Personalize Every Journey: We recognize that each individual’s path to independence is unique. Our coaches tailor strategies and goals to match your specific situation and challenges.
- Build Internal Skills: Rather than creating dependency on external systems, we help develop fundamental skills like self-motivation, responsibility, and decision-making through real-world experiences.
- Focus on Sustainable Growth: We create structured accountability while gradually building independence, ensuring skills and confidence develop naturally through varied experiences and strong relationships.
- Involve Family Support: We work closely with families to establish healthy boundaries and communication patterns that support growing independence.

Have Questions?
-
Do you accept insurance?
No. Executive Function Coaching is an optional non-medical service that is not reimbursable through insurance in any way, shape, or form. It is not reimbursable as there are no medical codes for it.
-
Do you do virtual sessions?
YES! They are nothing like virtual school – they are engaging and motivating. We do virtual sessions with ALL ages.
We see no difference in progress between virtual and in-person sessions. We conduct virtual sessions nationwide and internationally. -
How does it work?
– One 60-minute session per week.
– No contracts/commitments (cancel anytime!)
– There is a major focus on parent coaching and communication.
– Every student gets an individualized plan (we do not do one-size-fits-all).
– If you cannot get your child involved, that’s fine! The sessions can be strictly parent coaching. -
How many sessions until I see progress? What’s the average number of sessions needed?
This is an impossible question to answer, especially before we meet the student. Please do your best not to ask it. It would also be highly unethical to answer it. Every student is different, and progress is never predicted or guaranteed. Our goal is always to make this as short a process as possible for families.
There are over 1,000 real parent testimonials on the website and GrowNOW Instagram page. -
There is no way my child is going to agree to do this!
This is every parent’s primary concern. We have extensive experience with students who do NOT want to do the coaching program.
The GrowNOW model is different. Our sessions are highly engaging and motivating, and our students often ask for more sessions! Getting buy-in is our responsibility—not yours! -
We have been through so many failed therapies in the past – how is this different?
We focus on the internal skills to strengthen independence.
This is NOT therapy, talk therapy, CBT/DBT, or a mental health service. This is not a structured “one size fits all” curriculum—everything is tailored to the unique individual and family.
Many of the families who contact us have already wasted thousands on ineffective therapies. -
We want this to be as short of a process as possible for you and your family.
We do NOT focus on “client retention” and have zero interest in wasting anyone’s time or money. We are going to be very straightforward about what changes need to be made for home, academic, and social success so that we can fade back services and support as quickly as possible.
-
If you are skeptical in any way –
Please do not pursue services with GrowNOW. You should feel zero pressure to move forward with us. There are countless services out there for students with ADHD – we are just one. You know what is best for your child and family.
Trust your gut!
